Come and be a part of our Real Men's Ministry

CrossPoint Church Real Men's Ministry
Meeting every Tuesday at the church at 7:00 PM
All men are welcomed and encouraged to attend and be a part of this diverse group of individuals as we fellowship together, pray together and study God’s word together in a relevant manner with the desire and hope of providing strategic ministry opportunities that will develop and grow the men of CrossPoint Church to be better equipped in sharing the love of Christ Jesus in a tangible way for both our families and community.

Stop and Go

And the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the second time, saying, arise and go unto Nineveh that great city and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee. (Jonah 3:1-2) KJV

The Measure of a Man

He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.  (Proverbs 16:32 KJV)

There are countless opportunities for conflict and disappointment in this sin-afflicted world of our.  Even worse for us are that those relationships that are most important to us are those that often seem to end up being the most difficult when these times come.

How Busy Are You

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” - Ecclesiastes 3:1

A Direct Connection to God

A few years ago I had one of those cell phones that doubled as a radio allowing instant “two way communications.”  An amazing piece of technology it was by a simple press of a button you could instantly be connected to anyone hundreds of miles away.  On more than one occasion I spoke to an associate of mine in California as I remained here in Florida.  This system was called or referred to as “Direct Connect” and it was the rave for a couple years or so it seemed.  You heard the alert signals everywhere you went and people were carrying on conversations with people in other parts of towns,

Gracious Words Are Like Honeycomb

Pleasant words are a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. (Proverbs 14:24) I love to study God's Word and how He teaches us by using practical examples! When I read this scripture, I took a closer look at the honeycomb (‘gracious words are like honeycomb')...and found out that the hexagon shape in honey comb is the most efficient and strongest mathematical shape!

The End of Daylight Savings Time: Does it Really Matter?

This weekend we say goodbye to Daylight Savings Time and set our clocks back one hour, effectively putting us into what is called Standard Time.  This practice has received both praise and condemnation for various reasons.  Its proponents argue that getting up earlier allows more daylight to be utilized and enjoyed.  This is especially helpful to professions that rely on sunlight (i.e.

The Mission Field is Only a Prayer Away

God calls each of us to play a part in the lives of other people.  Unless we live alone on an island there are people we know, love and cross paths with, often every day.  Do we ever think of them as a mission field?  Too often we think of the missionary as the one hacking down jungle vines to clear the way for a school in some far corner of a South American country.  We forget that our own neighborhood, or the people who live with us under the same roof, are as much in need of the Gospel as any inhabitant of a remote corner of the world.

The Battle of the Mind

Ephesians 6:10-18 speaks about our spiritual armor against evil forces. The fifth piece of God's armor is represented by the Roman soldier's helmet: an essential protection against blows to the head and your brain (thoughts) and every function that comes from it. Satan's blows are directed to the believer's security and assurance in Christ.

“Heaven is For Real” vs “God’s Not Dead”

Is Heaven for Real? For Christian believers the answer is simple: yes, Heaven is for real. And that answer is the title of a recent film that, in my opinion, is less a “Christian” film than the recent hit "God's Not Dead" is. However, “Heaven is For Real” does have very strong Christian themes that will intrigue the viewer, although not be the life changer that "God's Not Dead" was.

God’s Not Dead is Good Art and a Good Witnessing Tool

God’s Not Dead is one of those films that can literally change your life, if you allow it to.  If you are a believer it will strengthen your faith.  It will show you a fellow Christian, placed in an untenable position, who risks his college career, his fiancé and his reputation to defend the One True God.
